"Well, for now, we're trying not to focus on that." Hazel said, straining to keep the smile on her face. "At the moment, all that matters is that no one gets hurt, and it's absolute mayhem out there." "It is. People are burning things." Mallory agreed with a nervous glance out the window. Hazel nodded. "I'm just doing what I can to keep this as under control as I can. Do either of you want some ice cream? That's what I'm handing out right now." She held up the second tray. "I myself am not very hungry right now."

''Wait... Who's dead?!'' Dri said, confused, before swiping some ice cream from Hazel's tray. ''Oh, right, the Guardians. Please and thank you.'' Damn that was some nice ice cream. He was jolted from his pleasant thoughts by a screaming Winnie banging on the window of every building she could find. ''FIRE!! SOMEBODY DO SOMETHING! I'M NOT A PHOENIX, ITS NOT LIKE I GONNA BE FRIGGIN' REBORN!'' Dri shrugged at her and continued eating. ''So... Looks like I'm late to the party?''

"Sure.. I guess.." Silver says and gets herself an icecream. "I wonder if my mum's okay.." She says.

"It's what people are saying." Hazel replied, shurgging. "No one knows what's going on for sure, as far as I'm concerned. Um, hey, winged lady..." Mallory jumped. "U-Um, you mean me?" "Yeah. Could you get the door open? My hands're full." "Sure." Mallory opened the door with ease. "Hey, e-er, Miss, you can come in here..." Someone really had to do something about that fire, though. Before long, it would start to spread. "I'm thinking of taking everyone outside pretty soon to find parents and the like, so don't worry about it." Hazel said to Silver. "We'll leave at around sunset."
(and thaaaat'll probably be where the real plot kicks in...)

Jess lowers her icecream. "Fire, huh? I guess I should probably help put that out." She frowns. "But I'm not done my ice cream. Hell, let's go. She sets the cone on the table and it falls over. She puts her hat down somewhere beside it and removes her jacket, dropping it on the floor. "If you're not afraid of death or dying, follow me!" She pushes out the door and heads towards the fire.

"Oh, sheesh, seriously?" Hazel muttered, sighing. There was no point in trying to stop her, and she noticed a few children already following. "This... is ridiculous." But at the same time, the sun was already setting. She needed to find a place for the kids, and quickly. "Stick by me, alright? Don't go near anything dangerous. Stick by me." She told the children as she hesitantly opened the door. Mallory, not sure what else to do, just guided a few of the other kids out, at the back of the crowd. This was probably a stupid idea, but there wasn't much of a choice.

''Oh, thank you!'' Winnie gasped, bolting through the open door and careering into a shelf, knocking over a bunch of sweets.
''Sounds fun, but I'll pass.'' Dri said lackadaisically. Winnie stared at him before turning back to the others and grinning, picking a glass shard out of her wing. ''Why don't we just fly this kid over the fire, he's like literal water.'' Dri choked on his ice cream and laughed nervously. ''I think not. Fire extinguishers sound better.''

Silver finishes her icecream, and also goes outside. She flies over to her house. It was a really large house, that looked like it was like ten storys high, but it only a two story house, the ceilings were just really high up, because dragons live in that house. She looked through the window. Her mother was trapped inside, and her mother was too tired to breath fire to burn down the door. Silver wanted to help her, but Silver's fire breathing was rather weak, and burning down the huge door would be hard.

"Wait, don't close the door!" shouts Jess, running back to the candy shop. She grabs Hazel by the shoulder. "Candy lady! I need to borrow all of your liquid products that aren't flammable and also the rest of your ice cream. Heads up, I probably won't be able to pay you back, but I mean like, currency is probably going to dissolve anyways soo..."

Mallory stuck her foot back into the door, stopping it from closing. "Okay, shoot, yeah, we probably need water." "T-There's, only, like, a couple fire extinguishers that I know about..." Hazel said, laughing nervously. She turned to the children. "Stay here, I'll be right back," and sprinted back inside. She tried the faucet, only to notice the water had been switched off, too. "Are you kidding me?" Without anything else, she scoured the kitchen and found two fire exinguisher. "Okay, I have these. It'll hardly be enough, but..." "Where'd the dragon go?" One of the children asked. Mallory shrugged, and noticed Silver had indeed disappeared. That probably wasn't good. Had she gone off alone...?
Augustus had grown desperate, after spending so long locked in his room. He picked up his bedside table and sprinted at the door. The result was painfully bouncing back, leaving only the slightest of dents on the door, and a heck of a bruise on his person. "A-Are you serious right now?" The blaze outside had only grown. He held back tears. Where was his mom?

''Told you. Fire extinguishers are the way to go.'' Dri said, having been ushered outside at some point. ''Althouuugh we're probably going to die anyway.''
As they awaited the candy lady's return, Winnie glanced nervously in the direction of the fire (and a few of the others).

"Haa!" exclaims Jess as she grabs a fire extinguisher from Hazel, struggling to drag a vat of ice cream with her other hand. "Let's go kick some fire's *ss!" She kicks the door open and does her best to hurry back towards the fire. Getting close to the heat to a point where she could feel her skin burning, she began to spray the fire extinguisher along the ground and anything that was burning. She barely knew how to use the thing so, you know, she tried her best.

Silver tries to scratch the door, not really effective.

In the chaos that was the protest, the rampant civilians paid little attention to the fire, or the group extinguishing it, or even the children starting to cry out of sheer terror. "Don't go near the angry people, alright?" Hazel warned them, extinguishing the nearest flames. "They're really upset about this, and could lash out." The sky was dimming, and soon the only light would come from the burning mess of town square.

Violet was wandering the streets, wondering why the Guardians would have abandoned her. She was walking a bit quicker than usual, as she was nervous, and not flying becuase she didn't feel like it. She noticed a lot of people trapped in shops, including one where there was a fire. But, outside, there was chaos. People were protesting, and hurting others, and crying... and not doing the right things. She decided to help someone, she just didn't know who yet.
There's a fire, right? Becuase I'm a bit confused.
