Mkay this is for Alastar. More than one scenario, but the order these are typed in is most likely irrelivant. I might omit some parts from here so if someone is actually stalking this and I end up roleplaying with them later they won't know everything about Alastar.
1. Something bad that happned to him that he's at least partially responsible for. 2. A good thing that he caused to happen to someone else. 3. A bad thing he caused to happen to someone who didn't deserve it. 4. Three reasons why he isn't a totally good person.

This was supposed to be #1 but oops... --- "Damn it!" Alastar muttered, brushing a tear from under his sunglasses. Why did his sister have to argue with him about this? She knew perfectly well why his independence had gone down the drain. "You know," he started, then paused. After a second he shook his head. "Bye." He made his way to the front door, stumbling over a rug in the process. In his slippers, he opened the door to the front porch and slammed it behind him. He heard the sound reverbrate inside the house and for a second he wished that his father was still asleep. It was five in the morning, after all, and his father didn't like waking up before eight.
Alastar listened to the windchime hanging from overhead as he tried to steady his breathing. He still felt anger tingling in his limbs and he knew that it would stay there until he did something about it. His fingertips brushed the railing of the porch for a few paces before he stopped and sat down on the corner of an outdoor couch. He leaned back, resting his forearm on a cool metal arm. He listened to the breeze, the windchime, the rustling trees as he welcomed the still-cool air on his skin. For a while the anger subsided, but then a fresh wave washed over him. Alastar layed down on his side as though he were a bottle and laying down would let the anger spill out of him. And it did, in the form of tears.
He was still for a while, just letting the tears spill out of his eyes, thankful that no one could see them behind his sunglasses. Even if they did, he wouldn't be able to tell if they stayed quiet about it. At this thought, a sob shook his body. He wouldn't see them. That was why he couldn't move out of the house. That was why he was less independent than he should be at his age--because he couldn't see them. That was why his sister was angry at him. He was dependent on her and his father. And when Alaster said that this was permanent, what was it that she said?
That he was scared.
Who wouldn't be? He argued, recovering from his crying. Who wouldn't be scared in darkness? Who wouldn't be scared to stumble along in the dark abyss that any university campus would be? And when people saw what his major was, wouldn't they laugh at him?
"A blind boy can't draw."
"You're wrong," his sister's voice came from the door. He jumped a bit, but couldn't keep a smile from his face. He tried to hide it behind his arm. Part of him was still angry.
She didn't move from the door. "You're ten times better than any of them, with a bigger heart and more modesty than anyone from Abnigation."
Alastar chuckled quietly. She was always into young adult books like that.
"Thanks," he mumbled, sitting up.
------ Ahh I'm going to cut it off here because otherwise it's going to turn into a novel xD

ok ok no this is how it plays out:
verse 1 ("I know I took the path.../So many sleepless nights...) is America and Canada as they're first meeting their respective Big Brothers (England and France)
Prechorus 1 ("Now remember when I told you...) is Canada abandoning America for France because you know what, Canada does have regrets and it's not just not speaking up when he should have.
Chorus 1 is both of them hoping the other is safe and all that.
Verse 2 ("I've been around the world..." is America after he gains independence from England and while he's happy that he did, he realizes that some of England's personality rubbed off on him (headcanon where he actually really likes tea and drinks it when he's alone)
Bridge ("Don't tell me that I'm wrong...") I'm imagining America and Canada sort of making up circa WWII and then at "Please forgive me for all I've done" is America basically glomping Canada when he arrives at a meeting between the Allies (the first one after all the declaring-war-on-x is done).

Ahhh I know I still have a little over a year to decide but I'm a little bit torn between these two high schools bc one offers IB and AP and the other offers just AP but way more option classes
wHATS THE DIFFERENCE EVEN BETWEEN IB AND AP BESIDES THE EXTENDED ESSAY AND THE CAS OR WHATEVER IT'S CALLED
because let's face it, I'm lazy and would have a difficult time completing the CAS because it says it's recommended to spend 2-ish hours per week on it for the entire year

Not to brag or anything but "You must have at least 80% on your Grade 9 term 2 report card to enter an AP course" *regularily scores between 85%-95%*
