Slowly, Carbon's arms began moving, in much smoother motions than before. Letting out a few metallic sounds, his head began to rise up as he began raising himself with his arms. Soon, he went from being sprawled on the bed to sitting up, his arms supporting the weight of his upper body. Fixing his eyes back onto King, he nodded slightly, trying to find a position that would better support his weight.

King claps his hands together eagerly. "Oh man, oh man! Look at that! Look at you! This is so cool!" He rubs a hand over his face with a wide grin. "Oh man... What time is it? Are any of the shops still open? I can grab a coffee and go to the next part if you give me the instructions." It was difficult to tell if he was lying about being able to go on. I mean, he seemed mostly fine.

Tilting his head sharply at the praise- a bit unneeded, in the android's opinion- He split control between his original body and the computer, simply to keep his form from collapsing. Quickly, he caused the computer to zoom in on the small digital clock in the corner of the screen; 12:43 AM. Carbon doubted that any stores were open nearby, so he just left the screen at that, regaining full control over his own body and shifting his position into one that better supported himself.

King glanced back over to the screen and relaxes his excited stance a bit. "Oh, guess everything's closed, huh? I wonder what time it is wherever the others are right now. Is there any way I can keep working at all?"

Instantly, some search engine popped up, a simple 'Leave it till tomorrow' soon popping up on the computer screen. Carbon had since let himself collapse, a quiet, yet semi-contented whirring noise filling the air around him. He rolled over onto his side on the bed, slowly curling into a loose ball.

WOW it's been a while King regarded the computer screen and relaxed his stance a little bit more, running a hand over his face. "Oh, hm. Alright, I guess." He reached for his pocket, panicked for a brief second, then lowered his hand, remembering where he'd lost his phone. He'd definitely keep helping this android, but maybe he'd try to find a phone tomorrow. He didn't remember any coworkers' phone numbers, though. Very vaguely, maybe, so there might be some trial and error, but he definitely needed to get in contact with someone before they pronounced him dead. Thinking about this, he crossed the room and shut off the lights, then spread himself out on the couch that was in the room. With no phone to keep him occupied, he draped an arm over his eyes and tried to sleep.

Carbon fell asleep near immediately, the constant whirring of motors and fans quieting down a good bit. One could still hear them in the room, but they would have to listen quite closely. In this unresponsive state, he did do a good bit of turning, slowly uncurling from his ball as the hours passed but not going past a very loose fetal position.

It took King longer to fall asleep. For one, he freaked out a bit when he realized he was still wearing shoes, inside and on a couch. Second, while coffee never took much affect on him nowadays unless he had a hell of a lot, he was still buzzing with energy just from being in this situation. Anxiety from being separated from his team and excitement because of the android. Normally he would have been up earlier, but the late night and the jet lag took its toll. Come morning, when sunlight was filtering through the curtains, he was still asleep, arm over his eyes, snoring quietly.

Carbon had awoken exactly six hours after he had originally fallen asleep. Noticing how King was still asleep, he started yet another connection with the computer in the hotel room's corner and began writing up the next set of instructions for him. He was still half-asleep, though, so many spelling/grammar errors were made in these instructions that he didn't notice. After he finished, he simply fell back asleep, not even bothering to look his work over.

When King woke up a while later, he dragged his arm down his face and moaned quietly. He took a moment to look around and remind himself where he was, then sat up and stretched his arms. He reached towards his pocket and had a brief rush of panic. He looked around the area quickly before he remembered he didn't have his phone. In his socks, he crossed quietly towards the computer to check the time. It was a lot later than he would've liked. He glances over the instructions on the screen, then at Carbon. This would have to wait. First order of business today was to find a phone and try to remember some numbers. After a few minutes of searching, he found a phone on a table by the door and went to see if it could make calls beyond the hotel.

Carbon woke up yet again about three minutes after King had, staring up at the cieling with a single emerald orb. He turned onto his side to look around the room, eye eventually finding and following (well, attempting to follow) King around the room. He let out a pretty loud chirpy-noise-thing to grab the other's attention, not caring in the slightest about what he was trying to do.
dont mind the tiny robot kid. he's an ungrateful little attention whore.

King, leaning against the wall, glances up at the sound. He smiles and waves a bit and mouths a, 'Morning,' but pauses suddenly. His expression turns a bit somber and he turns his head a bit away. "Sorry to bother you... This is the only number I could remember, apparently. No surprise, you're not here to pick up. Sorry for leaving a message. I was wondering if someone else might hear it ringing and pick up. If anyone finds this message..." He pauses for a few seconds, then hangs up, putting a hand to his head. "Wow, way too tired for THAT unexpected emotional journey. Anyway, 'morning. I'm just trying to make some calls and let my work know I'm not dead. Having some trouble remembering the numbers, they WERE all in my phone..."
