"Didn't I just tell you I'm fine on my own?" grumbled Fletcher, frowning. "I'm super tough. Plus, I can do this." She disappeared. This time, she didn't reappear. She moved quietly until she was beside him, where she announced, "I'll keep a look out for any dogs, if you want."

"Huh- o.o" Aurdroid's ears stiffened back up as he quickly turned his head to where her voice was, as his hands curled up a bit. "O-oh heh uh... Y-yeah. T-thanks then..." He rubbed one of his ears as he looked away. "So I'll see you again once you find a dog, right?"

"IF I find a dog. It might try to kill me, though. If I die you definitely won't see me again. I don't know if my corpse can die and stay invisible." There was a short pause. "Animals don't like me. But yeah. I'll let you know."

"W-well don't... Trouble yourself... o.o heh..." His ears drooped in mild worry. "I mean... You said you'll be fine. Obviously! Yeah. I've got someone I have to head back to... You'll be fine- I MEAN Aha s-shoot... I'm sorry but I keep getting a feeling you're not gonna be safe... I... I..." He looked around the area with slight hesitation to leave. "I'm sorry I... I'm probably troubling you by now. I should probably go... Y-yeah." He scratched a bit at the bottom of his visor as his wings slowly spread.

"Nothing dangerous will be able to find me," said Fletcher with a hint of pride in her voice. "... Although speaking of dangerous things who can't find me, I should get back to Jess before she leaves without me. Soo... Seeya." Fletcher had already pretty much decided she was going to follow Aurdroid, at least for a while, but the wings would be an issue. She took a few quiet steps back, but watched.

"Y-yeah... I'll see you too. It was nice meeting you." He gave her a mild nod as he flew off, heading off high into the sky. A minute later or two there was however a slight disturbance someways away from Fletcher, the sound of leaves lightly crunching. The trees and fading light would make the source of the noise a little hard to spot.

Fletcher started trying to track Aurdroid in the air, but lost him as soon as she picked up on a sound. She looked over and when she looked back Aurdroid was nowhere to be found. So she focused her full attention on some harmless little crunching leaves and started panicking, holding her breath and curling in on herself, staring into the dusk.

The sound of crunching leaves stopped, but it soon followed a loud swoop sound over Fletcher's head, along with what sounded like metal hitting cement behind her. If Fletcher turned around there would be what looked almost like Aurdroid, but more heavily armored and colored like dark camouflage. It quickly charged at her with it's hands suddenly taking hold of her shoulders, digging in.

The second Fletcher realized she was noticed, she started screaming. She writhed in the droid's grip as she became visible again, still screaming, hoping to get someone - anyone's attention. ((I've got someone who can come help if Aurdroid's too far or smthn! Also shes good bc u can kill her as much as u want. Immortal wifey))

(Okey dokey heheh!) The droid's talon suddenly reached up, able to grasp around almost Fletcher's entire torso as the claws stretched quite widely. He suddenly released Fletcher's shoulders but ended up quickly pinning her into the ground, crushing her as the tips of his talon's claw sank into her skin around her joints, seemingly with the intent to pop them off.

Fletcher just kept screaming; what else could she do? The pop of a gunshot made her pause for half a second before she kept screaming. "Oh, shut up," called a voice from in the darkness. "And don't move, I can't see shit." The first bullet had missed, but the second popped against the droid's visor, and so did the third. A tall broad-shouldered and cowboyhatted figure could be spotted, shooting as she walked. "Let the kid go."

The droid suddenly turned its head towards the direction the bullet came, its ears lowering and suddenly gripping a bit more tightly onto Fletcher, suddenly using its wings to propel itself forward and threw the girl into the figure. It suddenly swooped up and out of the way and stared back down at them before rushing back down with its talons opened, aimed at their heads.

The lady grunted when Fletcher's weight forced her to the ground. Fletcher screeched again as she shoved her off and out of the way. Almost immediately, Fletch was invisible again and running off. "Son of a-" The lady didn't have time to swear completely as she managed to roll out of the way, losing her hat. She had spiral scars spread across every inch of her skin. She pushed to a crouch, fired until she ran out of bullets, then started to run, too, not liking her odds against this robot.

The droid got a few puncture wounds in the thinner parts of its armor from the bullets, but it didn't seem to slow it down too bad. The robot tucked its wings behind its back as it began to charge after her, its tucked wings removing drag and it was catching up to her awfully fast.

Jess took a deep breath and stopped, spun around, and pulled a little ornate dagger from her belt, pointing it straight ahead of her. It didn't do anything. The droid rammed straight into her, throwing her backwards and forcing the butt of the blade straight into her stomach. She swore as she skidded along the ground, the nice jacket she wore tearing.
