It was a little while after that they finally arrived to the local hotel, and Aurdroid stopped in the front of it. He glanced back to the two and turned around with his ears raised. "Well... I think this is it. You two will be fine from here, right..?"

"Yep," murmured Jess before Fletcher could answer, head hanging. "Who are you, by the way?" "Aurdroid," answered Fletcher quietly. "He's good. He's a robot." "Great," Jess mumbled, then sniffed. "Thanks for the help, pal." Fletcher looked back up at Aurdroid, trying to figure out how to look at him in the eyes. "A- are you going to stick around? Just in case? We'll be leaving soon, but... just in case?"

"H-huh? Oh... Well I don't mind sticking around for just a few minutes heh...! I'm sure my... uh family won't mind." He scratches the side of his head a little with a nod. "I-I'm glad I could help, too."

(don't worry, I've been keepin' busy ;^) welcome back!)
Fletcher smiled, but it was a bit crooked and not terribly genuine. "Aww, you've got a family?" Her expression contorted a bit and her eyes flickered away. "... It's okay. I w- wouldn't make you stay for me." "What about me?" groaned Jess. "You'll live. I'll... hide..." An empty statement, considering the droid could apparently see her despite her invisibility, but, you know!
