Anyway. No one wants to hear about that for the next three years, so let's get back to planning a roleplay or something...

A couple of my friends were there as well, which surprised me, as I didn't know that they were also going.

Anyway. A few basic roleplay ideas...
- Athletes that are competing for different countries practicing for a Winter sports competition (kind of like the Winter Olympics) about a week before the event starts. - A town's scavenger hunt that attracts people from all over the country to take part. Teams have about 5-6 people in each. A couple of teams take a wrong turning, and get lost out in the countryside, where they meet up. - Two young celebrities' fame is starting to fade, so in order to create more revenue, their managers decide on an agreement to force the two to have a faux relationship, even though the two dislike each other. (Other characters can be not-famous friends of the two - or even a 'real-life' unknown partner to one of the two). - A Soulmates Alternate Universe Ideas. 1) At the age of 16, the full initials of your soulmate's (whether they are platonic, or romantic) name appears on your left wrist. 2) Whatever your soulmate draws on their arms, it appears on yours as well - and vice-versa. 3) If you and your soulmate look at each other, then both people's eyes turn purple until you look away again - so it is difficult to see your soulmate's 'true eye colour' unless it is in a photo. 4) Each person is born with one half of an image on their left wrist. Your soulmate has the other half. (Note: Soulmate Agencies also exist, which are dedicated to finding a person's soulmate - for a price, of course).
(There can also be those that happen to be 'exceptions' to the rules, and apparently don't have a soulmate/have to lie and pretend so that no one judges them. Or people that want to be able to have a relationship with the person that they fall for, not necessarily their 'designated' soulmate. Stuff like that).

I do like those ideas. Now to figure out a way to expand on at least a couple of them.
Or maybe I could keep them as they are, and have just a few others for a private Roleplay, where ideas can be suggested to keep the plot going.

A group of friends leave their quiet town for the city, in the hopes of getting a more adventurous, exciting life. It isn't what they expect it all to be, especially when some of the group decide to spend nights partying and the daytime sleeping, while the others are trying to hold down jobs to make ends meet, so that they aren't all kicked out of the large, shared apartment.

(WIP) Eight people are kidnapped as 2-year-old toddlers, and are raised in a secluded boarding house, away from other people. 18 years later, they start exhibiting hidden supernatural powers, and are taught to control them by their 'carers'. However, they soon discover that they are only part of a plan to become young soldiers for their 'carers', and release something terrible into the world - to 'create a new, better world', as they are told.

A group of people are invited to a formal dinner party, hosted by an upper-middle class family. Since those invited are also upper-middle class, the only people that are of a lower class are able to attend only if they are one of the guests' plus-ones.
- Or it could be a formal charity ball. Something like that.

"Dear (name of person),
We are delighted to announce our second annual formal garden and dinner event, and are inviting you, along with up to three other guests of your choosing. It is to be held at the Wells' family home, on the 18th June, starting at 4 P.M. sharp. Directions have been included. Please RSVP at least a week before the event, with the number of guests in your party.
James and Charlotte Wells."This is the letter you - or a friend - received. Deciding that you would attend (or agreeing to be a friend's plus-one), you send in your RSVP response. Upon arriving on the day of the event, you see that 'formal' is definitely a part of it. Guests are instructed to walk around the side of the house, to the large back garden. The patio is made up of slabs of light grey concrete, winding around displays of colourful flower patches and bushes cut into shapes such as a peacock, and a lion. Large stone steps lead down to the short, green grass. Borders of trees and blooming flower bushes and beds line the edges of the garden. A table covered with a white tablecloth holds tea, 'vintage' lemonade and a three-tier cake stand of dainty cupcakes. The centrepiece of the garden, though, has to be the marble fountain, with three dolphins - which are 'standing up' and facing different directions - that have water pouring out of the ends of their snouts. It's not huge, but it's big enough to have some red and white koi fish swim about, and to allow guests to comfortably sit on the edge of it. Guests are stood talking, and the hosts greet you and anyone else with you warmly after you step down onto the grass - although they seem to know whether or not you're part of an upper-middle class family. Although they don't make it obvious, the slightly condescending tone is still there. About half an hour later, a girl of about nineteen walks down the steps, carrying a flute case, wearing a knee-length white sundress with dark- and light-blue flowers patterned on it, and white flats. She takes her place in front of the fountain, sets the case down and opens it. She assembles the shiny, silver flute quickly, then she begins playing it - a piece called Autumn, from The Four Seasons, Op. 8, No. 3, RV 293. Initially, she hesitated, as though she was reluctant to even perform, but after a moment of recomposition, she started. This is Adrienne Wells. Link to her form. A black cat with white toes on his back feet is also present, though he sits on one of the stone steps, his big, orange-yellow eyes watching what is going on. Also among the guests is a young man, about twenty-two, wearing a dark blue suit with a white formal shirt, his blue tie slightly askew. The hosts of the party occasionally cast him weary or disapproving glances, and it is as though it had been mandatory to have invited this young man - obviously being a relative. He is confidently talking with the guests, speaking a little too casually for what could have been considered 'appropriate', and almost constantly grinning. He watches the girl playing her flute, but seems to sense that she is uncomfortable, and so he deliberately attempts to draw all and any attention away from her, and towards himself by 'accidentally' stumbling over. This is Cedric Wells. Link to his form.

I think it would work better as a character chat.

There has been 998 mass shootings since Sandy Hook... but Americans still want to keep their guns because 'freedom' and 'rights' or whatever.
(Not to mention, most of them are racist/homophobic attacks. And people actually try to defend the shooters! Well, only if the shooter was white, of course.)

We Are Not Soldiers For Your New World. (WIP).
Plot
In 1998, eight kidnappings took place in England. All of those kidnapped were two-years old. Although police investigations searched long and hard for the children, and the case was passed from person to person, it was eventually - and regrettably - decided to close the case four years later, in 2002. Despite the devastated families protesting hard to get the case reopened, the conclusion was ruled that the kidnapped children may not be alive.
The police were wrong, for each of the toddlers were still very much alive. In fact, they were pretty much thriving. They were being raised in a secluded and hidden boarding house, away from other people. They would not be allowed to go too far from the large house - not that they particularly wanted to anyway. They weren't alone, and the place was extremely comfortable. However, even 18 years after they were kidnapped (with no memory of being kidnapped, since it was done at a very young age), they were still not allowed to go too far. Being young adults, this was very frustrating. They had grown up with a carer for each of them, and the eight saw these people as their parental figures.
One day, they each start exhibiting a supernatural power that they had unknowingly manifesting inside of them - each person with a different power. To their surprise, though, their carers do not seem to be shocked or scared. Instead, they begin helping the eight control and use their powers correctly. But it isn't long before the group finds out a dark secret that was kept from them all of these years. These eight discover that they are only part of a plan to become young soldiers for the people they looked up to whilst growing up. To help release something dreadful into the world. Upon confronting their 'carers', they are told it is all to create a new, better world. One where they will not be looked down on. One where they will have the opportunity to have power alongside the 'carers'. But this can only happen, if the current world is wiped clean. People that they never knew existed - including their long-forgotten families - destroyed.
Whilst this is tempting, the eight still come together one night, to discuss what they are going to do. They have never met anyone else, so what if the world is as corrupted and poisoned as their carers have said? On the other hand, it is an entire world that they have never had to chance to explore. They must make their choice - defy and betray the people that have raised them, or trust and join them in their plan.
